The most difficult part of internet dating is surely  managing one’s expectations. It seems so easy to see a face on a screen and then mentally superimpose that desired image onto a body (a tall one of course) and add charm, humor, kindness, and pure loveliness. And then be sorely disappointed when reality hits.
It seems that we women are eternal optimists, especially where it happens that all things dating are concerned. And with this whole internet dating it’s especially easy to let our hopes and fantasies get the better of us. We know we’re not being blinded by any such thing as chemistry so thus surely a decision based on rationality and good judgment must be one that leads us to the one.
